Rosacea Reducing Treatment

Our treatment for Rosacea is designed to eradicate the naturally occurring human mite demodex folliculorum which is thought to aggravate the condition. Microscopic Demodex mites are a natural part of the human skin .

Two species of Demodex are found in humans.

Demodex folliculorum

live in hair follicles, primarily on the face, as well as in the meibomian glands of the eyelids

Demodex brevislive

live in the sebaceous glands of the skin

While Demodex folliculorum are found on the skin of all humans, they frequently occur in greater numbers in those with rosacea. There has been much debate as to whether their increased numbers are a cause or result of rosacea.  It appears that an overabundance of Demodex may possibly trigger an immune response in people with rosacea, or that the inflammation may be caused by certain bacteria associated with the mites.

Our 4 STEP Rosacea treatment:

Step 1. Enzyme Treatment

A light powder containing enzymes (bromelain, papain and trypsin) that gently dissolves build-up of dead skin cells.

Step 2. Oxygen Rx Treatment

A controlled amount of Oxygen is generated at optimum levels in the skin to provide maximum benefits and help to replace that ruddy look associated with Rosacea and thread veins with brighter and calmer skin. This treatment is extremely nourishing.

Step 3. Rosacea Serum

A clear serum of powerful botanicals that help to eliminate common causes of Rosacea and reduce inflammation. Helps to kill the Demodex mite, a common facial mite believed to be one of the main causes of Rosacea. Reduces inflammation.

Feature ingredients:

Rosemary- antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory

Pinewood Oil- antimicrobial, stimulates epidermal cell turnover

Cinnamon Oil- Demodex mite repellent

Step 4. Red Tea Antioxidant Mask

This unique blend of powerful extracts is designed to infuse the skin with essential antioxidants, vitamins and minerals while delivering hydration.

Improvement is seen after one treatment but we recommend a course for optimum results.
